US Study into Youth Sports Concussions

Ian Mattoch has represented people injured in accidents in Hawaii for over 35 years.  As Brain Injury Association of Hawaii’s president, Ian received an article this morning from the Federal TBI Program regarding a study into youth sports concussions by Ian Simpson.

The Institute of Medicine, part of the National Academies of Science, will probe sports-related concussions in young people from elementary school through early adulthood. The study will include military personnel and their dependants, and review concussions and risk factors.
